Mt. Batukaru is located in Tabanan regency and the height is 2276Mdpl (diatas permukaan laut.. hi3). It is Extinct Vulcano and the second highest Mountain to Mt. Agung. Mt Batukaru is one of alternative for trekking.
High on the slopes of Mt. Batukaru, sits Pura Luhur Batukaru, one of Sad Kahyangan. The temple anniversary falls on Manis Galungan, a day after Galungan holyday. On that day thousand of Hindus people come to this temple for praying.
Tabanan regency itself knows as a Balinese traditional farming, with a beautiful scenery of Rice fields and Terasiring. Nice view and great experience.
